Secondary Applications
After submitting your primary essays, most if not all, medical schools will require you to submit a secondary application. Usually they ask for additional information and additional essay questions. There’s this unspoken rule that you are supposed to return the secondary application within two weeks of receiving it. Because I applied to so many schools, I needed to keep track of when I was getting them and when I was returning them. Here’s what my organization looked like.

I was so so stressed in the month of July because I had so many secondaries coming at me and I barely pre wrote anything. I didn’t even really have time to have any one look over most of my secondaries. The few that could took too long so I submitted before getting their feedback. I found that my writing got better the more secondaries I sent back. I feel like the schools that I submitted secondaries later to were much better quality than my first few. Don’t be like me, start working on them early.
